I found our timing to be very serendipitous on our topic for February. Jon and I selected our monthly topics last December, before the #SHRM18Bloggers list came out and now we really know a lot of our #HRSocialHour folks are also part of this team, which means they kind of have a side gig. Typically, a side gig implies you are making money on the side, but I know at least Jon & I are not in this for the money. We are more about the experience, the networking and really just getting to know & expand the #HRSocialHour tribe. There’s a lot of great content out there as far as blogs, and in all honesty, I’m expecting most of our conversation on Sunday 2/25 to be around how we are using our HR experience to write blogs, speak at events or even consult a little.
And now, having said that, kind of hoping we’ve got a couple of folks who have a side gig unrelated to HR. This is a talented group so I can’t wait! Art, music, Lyft drivers, teachers, something we wouldn’t even think of …
